Why Hydration Break exists

Why the name
In soccer, football and tennis, the hydration break is the short pause when players step off the field, catch their breath and reset. More and more athletes treat their careers the same way: a stretch away from competition to build companies, buy into teams and start studios and foundations. We cover what happens in that pause.
Our rules
- Every claim has a source. If we can't source it, we leave it out.
- Weekly updates. New deals land in the newsletter first, then in the profiles.
- Corrections are welcome. Athletes, reps and readers can flag errors and we'll fix them quickly.
